Job Summary: This part-time position supports clinical and diagnostic testing services with potential for full-time growth. Responsibilities include patient interaction, specimen collection, accurate testing and documentation, and maintaining compliance with privacy and regulatory standards. The role also provides administrative and inventory support in a professional, patient-focused healthcare environment.
General Duties:
Patient Interaction & Specimen Collection
- Welcome clients professionally and ensure a positive, confidential experience.
- Collect urine, hair, nail, and saliva specimens for drug, alcohol, and DNA testing following proper procedures.
- Maintain strict compliance with testing protocols and privacy standards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Testing & Documentation
- Perform all testing procedures accurately, maintaining a professional and compliant environment.
- Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and documentation of specimens.
- Accurately record results and maintain confidential records according to company and regulatory standards.
- Follow up with Medical Review Offices (MRO), Designated Employer Representatives (DER), suppliers, and other officials as needed.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock of testing materials.
- Maintain equipment and testing areas in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
Administrative Support
- Assist with scheduling, tracking, and reporting tasks as delegated by management.
- Support team efforts to maintain compliance and efficient workflow.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- OR completion of a Medical Assistant or Clinical Technician program
- Experience in healthcare or clinical settings preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to professional, confidential service
- Flexible availability, including potential evenings or weekends
