Registered Nurse Hours
- Full-time – 40 hours per week
- 5x8 hour shifts
- 3rd Shift - 10:00 pm-06:30 am - every other weekend and rotating holidays included
Registered Nurse Compensation
- The pay for this position is $55.00-58.00 an hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to incarcerated individuals, including routine health assessments, triage, and emergency care.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments in accordance with established protocols and medical orders.
- Educate patients on health conditions, preventive care, medications, and lifestyle modifications as appropriate.
- Continuously monitor patient health, including vital signs, lab results, and responses to treatment, and maintain detailed, accurate medical records.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and implement life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Work closely with security staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for both staff and patients while respecting confidentiality and privacy.
- Perform intake screenings, assessments, and follow-up care to ensure that inmates’ medical needs are promptly addressed.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of illness within the facility.
