Duties
- Assist with food preparation and food running to ensure timely service and high-quality presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Support bussing and clearing tables to promote a clean and welcoming dining environment
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices
- Manage food handling tasks in compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during shifts
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Familiarity with banquet service or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Reliable, energetic, and eager to contribute to a positive team atmosphere
