Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Experienced Mechanic specializing in Classic Cars to join our dynamic automotive team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on classic vehicles using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and overhaul powertrains, including engines—diesel and gasoline—and transmission systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct precise vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, wheel alignments, and tire rotations tailored for vintage models.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto body repair techniques to restore vehicles to their original condition or improve functionality.
- Interpret technical schematics and service manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Implement ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations where applicable to enhance vehicle safety features on classic models retrofitted with modern technology.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction with every project completed.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong focus on classic cars; dealership experience is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and alignment services tailored for vintage vehicles.
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation and automotive electrical system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialized maintenance gear.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands preferred; experience working with automotive service standards for classic cars is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
