Audiologist – Medical & Diagnostic Audiology
We are seeking a compassionate, clinically focused Audiologist to join our team at one of our satellite office locations. Our satellite offices are free-standing Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center clinics, based in medical facilities. This position is ideal for an audiologist who enjoys medical and diagnostic audiology and values the opportunity to provide thorough, patient-centered evaluations in a professional clinical environment.
The primary focus of this role is comprehensive audiological evaluation and diagnostic testing, working with patients referred for hearing and related medical concerns. The Audiologist will collaborate with our broader clinical team while serving as the primary audiology provider at the satellite location. The Audiologist will work alongside a team comprised of other CFSHC team members at the satellite locations, including those in clinical support roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for adult and/or pediatric patients
- Conduct diagnostic testing appropriate to the patient's symptoms, history, and referral
- Interpret test results and provide clear counseling and recommendations to patients and families
- Identify findings requiring additional medical evaluation or follow-up
- Communicate results and recommendations with referring providers and members of the clinical team
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and patient records
- Provide appropriate referrals and recommendations for amplification or other hearing-related services when indicated
- Help maintain a high standard of clinical care and an excellent patient experience at the satellite office
Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for state audiology licensure
- Strong diagnostic and clinical audiology skills
- Excellent patient communication and counseling abilities
- Comfortable working with a high degree of independence while remaining connected to a larger clinical team
- Organized, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care
