What We're Looking For:
- Education: Graduate from an accredited PT assistant program, required.
- Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state PT assistant license, required.
What You'll Do:
- Provides therapy services consistent with licensure under the direction and supervision of a licensed therapist and functions as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Delivers care that is consistent with the physical therapy practice act in the appropriate state and adheres to APTA Code of Ethics.

Completes routine patient treatments independently while maintaining patient safety. Requires infrequent guidance/mentoring for complex patients.

Appropriately seeks guidance and assistance when necessary.

Participates in development of an individualized patient treatment plan.

Collects patient information/data relative to patient progress toward outcome goals, consistent with licensure, and provides feedback to evaluate effectiveness of treatment plan.

Demonstrates technical competencies and job knowledge involving unusual or infrequent circumstances. Participates in delegating patient care needs.

Communicate with patients, families, and visitors in a caring and empathetic way.

Provides timely and accurate information to all health care team members involved in the care of the patients, both within and outside of the organization.

Documentation is timely, legible, accurate, consistent with established procedures, and inclusive of treatment, response to interventions, and discharge planning needs as permitted by licensure.
