As a Content Marketer & Copywriter at Goldman Marketing Group, your main responsibility is to create high-end, persuasive, technically correct copy to be used throughout a number of digital and traditional marketing initiatives. You will play a crucial role in overseeing QA for all products created at the company, and ultimately are responsible for ensuring content is set up to best support our digital and traditional marketing strategies as well as quality control company-wide.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
Copywriter & Messaging
- Generate a broad array of long & short-form content, including but not limited to sales copy, blog posts, ads, eblasts, and print materials like flyers and tri-folds. Flexibility and creativity are key, as well as tailoring content depending on the intended use for various types of digital and printed content.
- Craft compelling sales pages from concept to completion. This includes understanding the target audience deeply, structuring the page, and collaborating with designers to ensure the visual elements complement the text.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to craft and refine the clients’ messaging. This includes developing taglines, defining the brand voice, crafting elevator pitches, and identifying differentiators that set our clients’ brands apart in the marketplace.
- With insights from our SEO team, create blog posts that are both engaging and optimized. This involves seamless and natural keyword integration, structuring content effectively, and enriching posts with appropriate visuals.
Aesthetic Subject Matter Expert
- Deep Industry Understanding: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each of GMG’s client services and products.
- Main area of expertise will be focused on cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery, including injectables, lasers, body sculpting, veins, aesthetician services, skincare, research, and proprietary combination treatments.
- Continual competition analysis and industry research to identify new trends, ideas, and innovations we can bring back to GMG to improve our products.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and specifically the aesthetic industry to understand how, when, and where products will be used to support our clients. Expectation for continual learning to stay on top of industry trends.
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Ensure the quality assurance and proofreading of the company's projects. This includes ensuring consistency, accuracy, and the highest quality of content across all platforms and materials.
- Audit for GMG standards and subject matter accuracy
- Deep understanding of each of GMG’s main products/deliverables to ensure strategic QA feedback and guidance
- Oversight for trends and areas needing improvement, preparing feedback for managers so that they can create training materials and upskilling programs for the team

What We’re Looking For:
- Consistent ability to generate content with minimal guidance from SEO specialists and Marketers
- Proven experience in writing diverse content with the ability to engage different audience segments.
- A strategic thinker who can see beyond the written word, understanding how content fits into broader marketing objectives.
- Familiarity with SEO basics, such as keywords and search intent, and the ability to incorporate SEO strategies into content without compromising quality, ensuring that content not only resonates with readers but is also discoverable.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including where the user is in the funnel, understanding the target audience, being able to write persuasive copy using emotional appeals and principles of influence, clearly articulating the UVP (unique value proposition), and a strong grasp of psychological triggers that influence decisions.
- Excellent collaboration skills, comfortable working alongside SEO specialists, designers, and the marketing team to craft cohesive and impactful narratives.
- Proven ability to generate expert-level sales pages demonstrating an understanding of visual storytelling and user experience. This will require a deep understanding of users' pain points, fears, and objections, being proactive in requesting information from the Marketer or Client, creating the structure of the copy, aligning to the ideal page structure, communicating well with designers, and writing persuasive copy to convince users to convert/book/buy.
- Applying a foundational understanding of digital marketing to content creation, recognizing the importance of tailoring content to various stages of the customer journey.
Digital Competencies:
- Demonstrated expert ability to integrate AI (GPT, Claude, or other LLMs) and technological innovations within the content process, showing tangible improvements in output and efficiency, and the ability to create and adjust prompts to create rich, human-like content
- Proven track record working inside of content management systems such as Wordpress, Squarespace, and Unbounce
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4 in regards to content performance
- Familiarity with Mailchimp
- Basic ability to create visual assets using Canva or Adobe Suite
- Experience using project management tools (Wrike, Asana, Trello or similar)
- Highly proficient in GSuite including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Dropbox, and the ability to quickly learn any new software added to the GMG or Client tech stack
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or related field
- At least 3 years experience working as a copywriter inside of a marketing agency
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proven track record of cross-departmental and team collaboration to enhance product quality
- Basic understanding of the healthcare industry, and specifically the aesthetic industry
- Strong and fast at-home internet connection and home office to allow for multiple video calls throughout the day
