Overview
Our business is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a skilled and reliable Window & Door Service Technician to join our growing team. If you have experience with residential and commercial window and door installations, including diagnosing issues, performing service work, and ensuring quality repairs and adjustments, this may be the perfect job for you!
This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
Duties
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair windows and doors
- Perform service calls, including adjustments, hardware replacements, sealing, and
- weatherproofing
- Install replacement parts and ensure proper operation of components
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding issues, resolutions, and maintenance

- Accurately complete job reports, service documentation, and follow-up communications
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Coordinate with the Service Manager to ensure timely job completion
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in window and/or door installation or service preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with brands such as Loewen, Unilux, Marvin, Panoramah, Dynamic, Lepage
- Knowledge of glazing, weatherproofing, and hardware systems
- Familiarity with work order management systems or CRM software

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
