Account Executive Job Description – Attorneys (South Carolina)
Company Overview:
AP Healthcare is a medical coordination company specializing in connecting personal injury attorneys and their injured clients with trusted medical providers. Our mission is to streamline the coordination of care, ensuring that clients receive the appropriate medical attention they need while supporting attorneys in managing their cases effectively. We are seeking a dedicated and driven Account Executive to own and grow our network of personal injury attorneys across South Carolina. This is a relationship-driven role built for someone who already knows the South Carolina legal community — a true local who doesn't meet a stranger, who has built genuine rapport with attorneys and firms across the state, and who takes personal ownership of their territory from the Upstate to the Lowcountry.
Job Summary:
The Account Executive will play a key role in growing and sustaining our network of personal injury attorneys throughout South Carolina. This position involves developing new attorney relationships, deepening existing ones, and ensuring seamless collaboration between medical providers and the legal teams we support. The ideal candidate treats their territory like their own business — self-motivated, organized, and comfortable navigating every corner of the state, from Charleston and Columbia to Greenville and the surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Own your South Carolina territory — establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with personal injury attorneys and law firms across the state, serving as the trusted, go-to point of contact who addresses their needs and concerns.
- Client Education: Articulate the benefits of our medical coordination services to attorneys, emphasizing how our solutions can enhance their clients' care and streamline case management.
- Sales Execution: Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals, ensuring alignment with company goals, objectives and KPI’s.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Care Coordinators and office support staff, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of provider interactions, agreements, and performance metrics in CRM systems.
- Networking: Represent AP Healthcare at afterhours networking events across South Carolina, 3-4 times per month, building the kind of face-to-face relationships that come naturally to someone who is genuinely plugged into the local legal community.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the personal injury legal or healthcare industries. Existing relationships within South Carolina's personal injury attorney community are strongly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
