We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Diesel Service Technician to join a leading Company located in the Farmington, NY surrounding area.
Salary: $52,000 - $68,640
If you enjoy diagnosing problems more than repeating PM work, and would rather have independence than spend your day in the same bay, this role may be worth exploring. This position is built for an experienced diesel technician who wants variety, freedom, and the ability to solve real problems in the field while staying hands-on.
Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair heavy diesel trucks and trailers in the field
- Respond to roadside breakdowns and emergency service calls

Perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs involving brakes, electrical systems, engines, HVAC, tires, and DPF systems

Manage parts inventory and complete service documentation from your mobile unit

Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and customers throughout repairs
Basic Hiring Criteria:

CDL Class A license REQUIRED

2+ years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred

Experience working on 48' and 53' trailers strongly preferred

Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting ability with minimal supervision

Basic tools and comfort working outside of a traditional shop setting
