A warm New York City family is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old child on a full-time, live-out basis. The role centres on providing engaged, loving daily care while immersing the child in Spanish through everyday conversation, songs, books, and play.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, nurturing daily care for the child — meals, snacks, hygiene, and naps.
Speak Spanish throughout the day to support natural bilingual development.
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage language, motor skills, creativity, and independence — reading, singing, art, sensory play, outdoor time, and visits to local parks and playgrounds.
Support potty training, social development, and early learning milestones as appropriate.
Maintain a calm, safe, and tidy environment in the child's spaces (toys, play areas, laundry, bottles/cups, light meal prep).
Coordinate closely with the parents on routine, progress, and the child's evolving needs.
Requirements:
Proven nanny experience with toddlers.
Fluent in both Spanish and English; comfortable conversing with the child primarily in Spanish.
Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones and age-appropriate stimulation.
Occasionally accompany the family on weekend trips out of the city.
Reliable, punctual, and discreet; comfortable in a private household setting.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, exact schedule to be decided
Salary Offered: approximately $83,200+ USD annually
