Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural sites to identify pest infestations and environmental conditions conducive to pests.
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery in accordance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Develop customized pest management plans that include baiting, trapping, chemical applications, and eco-friendly solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, pests identified, and follow-up actions required for each client or property.
- Operate vehicles safely to travel between job sites, ensuring compliance with driving regulations and company policies.
- Assist with lawn care, landscaping, farming activities or other land management tasks as needed to support property health and aesthetics.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and sustainable practices to minimize future issues.
Skills
- Proven experience or interest in pest control, lawn care, farming or agriculture-related fields.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and safety procedures related to outdoor work.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid license; comfortable operating company vehicles over varied terrains.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under different weather conditions.
- Good communication skills for explaining treatment plans and safety instructions clearly to clients.
- Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus for promoting additional services or products.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, land management, or pest control technologies.
