Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and airless paint sprayers.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools efficiently for surface preparation, fixture installation, and minor carpentry tasks like trim carpentry and framing.
- Perform specialized painting tasks including industrial painting, stucco application, masonry finishes, and restoration projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project timelines and specifications while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques.
- Hands-on experience
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and equipment such as airless sprayers for efficient application.
- Background in related trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry, plastering, welding, or concrete finishing is a plus.
