Position Overview
My Dentist For Life is seeking an experienced, motivated, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing holistic and cosmetic dental practice. We are looking for someone who is confident in both clinical and patient care responsibilities, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Our office focuses on high-quality comprehensive care, advanced technology, and patient education. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, surgical, implant, and hygiene-related treatment
- Prepare and break down treatment rooms efficiently
- Take digital X-rays and CBCT scans
- Make temporary crowns and assist with impressions/scans
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
- Assist with patient education and treatment explanations
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and charting
- Help manage patient flow and ensure efficiency throughout the day
- Support same-day treatment opportunities and schedule optimization
- Work collaboratively with front office and clinical team members
- Assist with ordering and maintaining clinical supplies when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- EFDA certification preferred but not required
- Experience with digital scanning and modern dental technology preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive and professional attitude
- Experience with cosmetic, implant, or surgical dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with Oryx or similar dental software is preferred
