Position Overview
Central Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Elementary School Teacher who is committed to academic excellence and the spiritual, intellectual, and social development of young learners. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that inspires curiosity, fosters critical thinking, and encourages students to grow in both knowledge and character.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in core subject areas, including Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Bible.
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes academic achievement, personal responsibility, and Christian character development.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate academic records.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student growth, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize educational technology and learning management systems to enhance instruction and track student performance.
- Collaborate with school leadership, faculty, and families to support student success.
- Implement classroom management strategies that foster respect, accountability, and a love for learning.
- Participate in school events, professional development opportunities, faculty meetings, and other school activities as assigned.
- Serve as a positive Christian role model for students both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required).
- Florida Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain certification preferred.
- Previous elementary teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and child development.
- Ability to integrate Christian values and biblical principles into daily instruction.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
