About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing and Sales Professional to lead outreach, promotion, and sales of our premium new houseboats. This role blends strategic marketing with hands-on sales, ideal for someone passionate about the boating lifestyle, customer engagement, and luxury product sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet monthly and annual targets for new houseboat sales.
- Build relationships with qualified leads—from initial inquiry to signed purchase agreement and delivery.
- Conduct client consultations to understand lifestyle needs, customization options, and financing preferences.
- Host and attend trade shows, open houses, and waterfront events to promote products.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline activity, and conversion metrics using CRM software.
Marketing
- Plan and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels to generate qualified leads.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling brochures, social content, and advertising that highlights houseboat features and brand lifestyle.
- Optimize website and online listings for visibility, search performance, and customer engagement.
- Coordinate professional photography, video tours, and client testimonial campaigns.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine positioning and pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in marketing or sales—marine, recreational vehicle, or luxury product industries preferred.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong understanding of digital and social marketing tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Enthusiasm for boating, travel, and outdoor living is a plus.
