The Foundation Fellows Year-Long Program is FPR’s flagship fellowship—an elite, highly competitive 12–24 month leadership experience for recent graduates and early-career professionals committed to driving Puerto Rico’s socioeconomic transformation.
This fellowship is designed to cultivate strategic generalists through a combination of cross-disciplinary rotations, leadership formation, mentorship, and real-world strategic execution. Fellows work on FPR’s most ambitious initiatives while preparing to enter Puerto Rico’s workforce as high-impact professionals.
What You Will Do
As a Year-Long Fellow, you will:
- Begin with a deep placement in one strategic area and advance through mentorship-led rotations into complementary pillars.
- Lead high-impact Immersion Projects that shape mobility systems, cultural assets, human capital pipelines, regional governance, and more.
- Participate in a structured leadership curriculum, including Learning Labs, advanced workshops, and AI-enabled work tools.
- Serve in cross-functional teams and Shadow Boards, contributing ideas directly to organizational leaders.
- Potentially receive a return offer for long-term employment at FPR or with partner institutions.
