Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and caring In Home Caregiver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care that enhances our clients’ well-being and promotes their independence. Your compassionate approach and attention to detail will ensure that each individual receives the highest quality support in their daily activities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs and reporting any changes promptly
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
- Support patients with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations for privacy
- Use proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques, including Hoyer lifts if needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or concerns
- Provide transportation assistance for appointments or errands, ensuring safety at all times
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice support techniques
- Proficiency in patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, and medication administration
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Familiarity with home health procedures, care plans, HIPAA compliance, and patient personal care assistance
- Physical ability for patient transfer methods, CPR certification, first aid skills, and manual handling

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
