Infant & Toddler Assistant Teacher (Afternoon Closer)
Little Sprouts Childcare Center is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our Infant & Toddler Loop as an afternoon closer.
The typical schedule for this position is generally 11:30 A.M.–6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, with most days ending around 5:45–6:00 P.M. We are also open to splitting it into two positions: an 11:30 A.M—4:00 P.M. Midday Shift and a 4:00–~6:00 P.M. Closing Shift. This role sees children through afternoon activities, transitions, family pickups, and end-of-day routines.
We are looking for an educator who believes children deserve respectful relationships, meaningful connections, and the freedom to learn through play. Our program values child-led learning, responsive caregiving, and giving children the time and space to explore at their own pace.
Our Infant & Toddler Loop is built on continuity of care, allowing educators to build lasting relationships with children and families as they grow together. This role supports a mixed-age infant and toddler classroom and is an important part of maintaining consistency and connection throughout each child's day.
