MedStaff Group is recruiting on behalf of a growing mobile diagnostic imaging organization seeking experienced Sonographers / Ultrasound Technologists to provide portable ultrasound services throughout Brooklyn, Long Island, and Staten Island.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sonographer who enjoys working independently, traveling between facilities, and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging directly to patients in long-term care and healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform portable ultrasound examinations at multiple healthcare facilities
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Accurately document studies and communicate findings to interpreting physicians
- Travel between assigned facilities throughout the day
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow all imaging protocols and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Active ARDMS certification required
- New York State license (if applicable)
- Experience performing multiple ultrasound modalities
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
Preferred Experience
- Vascular Ultrasound
- Abdominal Ultrasound
- General Diagnostic Ultrasound
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, or outpatient settings
