Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks, including brake repair, tire service, and electrical troubleshooting and engine repair.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, such as engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicles to identify potential issues and ensure they meet safety standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately and provide effective solutions.
- Perform maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program in automotive repair is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
