Orthodontic Dental Assistant (Part-Time with Full-Time Potential Through Travel)

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following:

Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures

Prepare patients for treatment and ensure a positive patient experience

Take digital X-rays, photos, and impressions/scans

Change wires, brackets, and other orthodontic appliances as permitted by Oregon regulations

Maintain accurate patient records and charting

Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance

Help keep clinic flow efficient and organized

Support team members and contribute to a positive office culture
Qualifications:
You will be required to possess the following:

Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required

Active Oregon dental assisting certifications/licenses required

Current radiology/X-ray certification for Oregon

Strong communication and patient care skills

Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Comfortable working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment

Willingness to travel to additional office locations is a plus and may allow for full-time scheduling
