Program/Client Associate, Hemophilia Association of New York
Hemophilia Association of New York (HANY) is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and mission-driven Program/Client Associate to support our work serving individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders across New York.
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program/Client Coordinator to join our team and drive impactful educational programs and support our clients' needs. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between clients, HTC staff, and community partners, ensuring seamless program operations and exceptional client support.
The Program Associate will play a key role in supporting and implementing community programs, educational events, member communications, and day-to-day administrative operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about nonprofit work, community engagement, and helping people access trusted support and resources.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute HANY programs, events, and outreach activities
- Support communications with members, families, providers, volunteers, and community partners
- Manage relationships with clients, families, community partners, and internal staff to promote collaboration and trust
- Help identify, research, and pursue grant opportunities and other funding sources
- Assist with grant paperwork, applications, reports, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate event logistics, registration, materials, and follow-up
- Provide client support and follow-up
- Design and develop quarterly newsletters to communicate organizational updates and key initiatives
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and program files
- Track deadlines, action items, and program-related tasks
- Draft, edit, and proofread emails, flyers, reports, and other materials
- Provide general administrative support to the executive team
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse populations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree a must
- One to three years of experience a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Comfortable working with diverse community members and stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, advocacy, grant writing, or event coordination a plus
- Multilingual abilities a plus
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
