S.D. Ireland Companies is seeking a full-time Property Maintenance Technician to support our apartment communities across Chittenden County.
We are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn, dependable, and looking to build a long-term career in property maintenance.

- On-call rotation approximately 1 week per month

What You’ll Do
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs across multiple apartment communities
- Complete apartment turnovers (unit turns)
- Respond to service requests with attention to quality and resident satisfaction
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair basic HVAC and appliance issues (training provided)
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls during on-call rotation
- Work independently and as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn building systems, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Basic mechanical or construction aptitude preferred (not required)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Participation in on-call rotation after qualification
Schedule & Structure
- Full-time position
- On-call rotation: approximately one week per month (after qualification period)
