Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and service spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying appropriate treatments to ensure they are spotless and safe.
- Assist with hotel housekeeping tasks such as replenishing supplies, changing linens, and restocking amenities to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Support janitorial operations by disposing of trash, cleaning windows, dusting surfaces, and ensuring all areas meet hygiene requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed, utilizing specialized equipment for large-scale or deep-cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all cleaning procedures align with brand standards and guest expectations.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial supplies.
- Experience with industrial or large-scale cleaning projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality operations and guest service standards enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or institutional settings is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude are essential for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
