Part-Time ERP Consultant – DatacorERP (Chemical Manufacturing)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ERP consultant to assist with implementations, client support, business process consulting, and system optimization for chemical manufacturers using DatacorERP (formerly Chempax). This is a hands-on consulting role requiring someone who can work directly with clients, understand manufacturing operations, and independently solve complex ERP issues.
Required Experience
Must Have
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with DatacorERP (ChempaxVB)
- Experience supporting chemical manufacturing or process manufacturing companies
- Strong understanding of:
- Inventory Management
- Purchasing
- Sales Order Processing
- Production / Batch Manufacturing
- Lot Tracking
- Quality Control
- Costing
- Accounting integration
- Ability to troubleshoot ERP issues independently
- Experience configuring DatacorERP to meet customer requirements
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Crystal Reports
- Microsoft Access
- SQL Server / T-SQL
- Power BI
- Stimulsoft Reports
- Custom reporting and dashboards
- API integrations
- Manufacturing process improvement
- ERP implementations or migrations
Responsibilities
- Lead client working sessions
- Gather and document business requirements
- Configure DatacorERP
- Troubleshoot functional issues
- Develop process improvements and best practices
- Assist with testing and user training
- Create documentation and training materials
- Work directly with client management and end users
- Collaborate with other consultants on implementation projects
