❤️ What You'll Do
As an Assistant Teacher, you will:
- Help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
- Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning experiences
- Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, nap time, and classroom transitions
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Support developmentally appropriate learning experiences and curriculum
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Work collaboratively with our teaching team
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Caring, patient, dependable, and energetic
- A positive team player
- Comfortable working with children of varying ages
- Willing to learn and grow in the field of Early Childhood Education
- Reliable and committed to providing quality care
- Able to meet Michigan child care licensing requirements
Previous child care experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
