Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding in accordance with construction plans and schematics
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute project specifications
- Conduct safety inspections on-site to ensure compliance with construction workplace safety regulations and the proper use of safety harnesses
- Perform siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work, and tile laying as needed for roofing projects
- Operate heavy machinery for lifting materials safely and efficiently during construction or restoration projects
- Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and ensure precise fabrication and framing of structures
- Assist with remodeling or restoration projects by applying carpentry skills such as framing, metal stud framing, or concrete forming
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools like hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication supplies
- Follow all safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), especially harnesses when working at heights or on scaffolding
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or siding installation
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and the proper use of safety harnesses in elevated work environments
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, masonry tools, tile cutters, and other fabrication tools
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe material handling practices on construction sites
- Background in remodeling projects involving carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), stucco application, masonry work or plumbing is a plus
- Previous handyman experience or general construction site experience demonstrating versatility across multiple trades is highly desirable

Pay: $160.00 - $200.00 per day
