Trailer Repair Technician – $26–$32 Per Hour
South Trailers LLC is hiring a full-time Trailer Repair Technician in Houston, Texas.
We are looking for a dependable technician with general knowledge of commercial trailer repair. This is a hands-on technician position and is not a lead, supervisor, or shop-foreman role.
Responsibilities include:
- Trailer light and electrical repairs
- Air-leak diagnosis and repair
- Brake chambers, valves, air bags, and suspension repairs
- Door, hinge, floor, roof, panel, and body repairs
- Basic welding and fabrication
- Preventive maintenance and inspections
- Mobile service calls when required
- Proper use and care of tools and service equipment
- Completing repairs safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous trailer, truck, welding, or mechanical repair experience
- Basic welding ability
- Ability to diagnose and complete common trailer repairs
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Dependable attendance and professional behavior
- Ability to work overtime when needed
Compensation:
- $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability
- Overtime available
- Full-time position
