Job Summary

Duties
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other equipment to ensure safe handling of goods.
- Pick, pack, organize, and prepare orders for shipment with precision using order pickers and inventory management software.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into warehouse management systems
- Organize stock in designated storage areas, ensuring proper stocking techniques and adherence to trade compliance and international trade regulations.
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers and ensuring timely dispatch of orders.
- Support warehouse operations by loading/unloading trucks, stocking shelves, packaging products, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to verify stock accuracy; utilize warehouse distribution knowledge to optimize space utilization.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all warehouse activities to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by accurately fulfilling orders and responding promptly to internal or external inquiries related to shipments or inventory.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred; familiarity with warehouse operations is essential.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRPs is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and international trade regulations is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is desirable.
- Strong basic math skills for counting inventory, calculating weights/volumes, and processing transactions accurately.
- Competence in data entry using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel for reporting purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to ensure smooth warehouse distribution operations.
