Momentum ERP Functional & System Expert
KACE Services LLC is seeking highly experienced Momentum Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a major federal financial modernization initiative involving Momentum Financial ERP. This is a strategic role supporting Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities across implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide subject matter expertise on Momentum Financial ERP functional processes, technical architecture, integrations, and implementation best practices.
· Conduct independent assessments of System Integrator deliverables, including:
o Requirements Documentation
o Functional Design Documents
o Technical Design Documents
o Interface Specifications
o Data Conversion Deliverables
o Test Plans and Test Scripts
o Test Execution Results
o Deployment and Cutover Plans
· Perform Requirements Traceability Analysis to validate end-to-end coverage from business requirements through testing and deployment.
· Evaluate interface requirements, integration testing strategies, and data validation approaches.
· Conduct Test Readiness Reviews and Implementation Readiness Reviews.
· Support independent testing activities, including test scenario development, query creation, data validation, and results analysis.
· Execute manual and automated test cases to independently validate System Integrator test results and verify compliance with business, functional, technical, and interface requirements.
· Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and test suites to support independent verification activities across implementation waves and operational releases.
· Analyze automated test execution results, investigate defects, validate resolutions, and provide independent findings and recommendations to Government leadership.
· Perform data validation and backend verification activities using SQL queries, reports, and other analytical tools to validate test outcomes and business process integrity.
· Identify program risks, defects, process gaps, and implementation concerns.
· Develop findings, recommendations, and executive-level observations for Government leadership.
· Support IV&V dashboard development, metrics reporting, and status briefings.
· Collaborate with Government stakeholders, System Integrator teams, and IV&V personnel using tools such as JIRA, Xray, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other program management platforms.
· Participate in weekly and monthly program reviews, leadership briefings, and governance activities.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of hands-on functional and technical experience with Momentum in large, complex federal government implementations.
· Deep expertise in one or more of the following Momentum domains:
o Core Financials
o Acquisitions
o Budget Formulation
o Grants Management
o Funds Management
o Reporting & Analytics
o Interfaces & Integrations
o Data Conversion
o Testing & Quality Assurance
o Technical Architecture
· Strong understanding of Federal Financial Management, Budgeting, Acquisitions, and Grants processes.
· Experience supporting large-scale federal ERP modernization, implementation, upgrade, migration, or transformation programs.
· Experience evaluating requirements, testing, interfaces, defects, risks, implementation readiness, and deployment activities.
· Experience working in Agile, Hybrid Agile, or traditional SDLC environments.
· Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to prepare findings, recommendations, executive summaries, and leadership briefings.

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year. In addition, we are pleased to offer a signing bonus of $5,000. This bonus will be paid in one lump sum on the next regularly scheduled pay date after you successfully complete your first 90 days on the job.
