We are seeking an experienced Edomae Sushi Chef to join a Michelin-recognized omakase restaurant that has been recognized for 7 consecutive years.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Edomae sushi experience
- Experience working in an omakase or high-end Japanese restaurant
- Excellent knife skills and fish butchery
- Strong understanding of traditional Edomae techniques, including fish preparation, aging, curing, and rice preparation
- Ability to maintain exceptional consistency, cleanliness, and organization
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a guest-facing omakase environment
- Japanese language skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Execute omakase service with precision and consistency
- Prepare and maintain the highest standards for fish, rice, and all accompanying ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Follow proper food safety, storage, and inventory procedures
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to uphold the restaurant's standards
- Interact professionally with guests and contribute to a memorable dining experience
