NOLA Pizza has an immediate opening for a part time Pizza/Prep Cook who is organized and dependable. Must be able to work nights on Friday and Saturday and arrive on time.
Responsibilities:
-Prepping product for all service needs, including catered events
-Adhering to Portion Control
-Preparing pizza, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, desserts and other items as noted in recipes
-Working the oven and making sure to maintain company food standards
-Maintaining a clean work environment and performing cleaning duties as assigned (including washing dishes and taking out the trash)
-Labeling food appropriately to meet health code standards
-Appropriately quoting ordering times to FOH staff and MOD
-Stocking line with product for peak service times
-Participate in stocking deliveries
-Assist with daily inventory
Experience:
- Previous experience in a catering or restaurant setting is required. Pizza experience is a plus!
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions (verbal and written) accurately
- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent quality of food items
- Ability to meet production deadlines
-Handling high volume in the kitchen
-Can maintain composure during stressful situations
-Be able to multitask and adjust and shift priorities as needs arise
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
