Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled attorney with 5–10 years of experience to join Irvine office. The ideal candidate will have substantive experience in civil litigation, construction defect litigation, and business litigation, along with excellent legal writing and research capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, including discovery, motions, settlement negotiations, and trial
- Manage construction defect litigation cases, coordinating with experts, inspectors, and multiple parties
- Advise on and litigate business/transactional disputes, including contract disputes, commercial matters, and related claims
- Draft compelling legal pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple state jurisdictions
- Maintain accurate case files and meet all court deadlines
QualificationsRequired
- 5–10 years of experience in civil litigation
- Substantial experience in construction defect litigation
- Strong background in business litigation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated legal research and writing proficiency
- Active attorney license in good standing (California required)
- JD from an accredited law school
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Pay: $140,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
