We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional service to our guests. As the first point of contact for patrons, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information.
- Provide assistance in other areas of the restaurant as needed to enhance guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
