Position: School Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Hillsborough County Public Schools - Tampa, Florida

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Hillsborough County Public Schools is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services to students in a school setting. This position requires a bilingual nurse who is fluent in Spanish, as effective communication with students and families is an essential part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions.
- Assess, treat, and respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs).
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and academic success.
- Promote health education, wellness, and disease prevention within the school community.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and Hillsborough County Public Schools policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous school nursing experience is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
Compensation
- $45.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
