OneSparQ is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support a growing aerospace company in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily manufacturing operations on the production floor, partnering with manufacturing teams to improve and maintain efficient aerospace subassembly processes.
- Assist with the development, optimization, and validation of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment used in aerospace assembly operations.
- Provide hands-on production support by assisting with equipment setup, process validation, and troubleshooting of riveting systems, automated riveting equipment, and GEMCOR systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to support training on new processes, tooling, equipment, and process improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis on non-conforming products and manufacturing issues to identify corrective and preventative actions that improve quality and efficiency.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
- Hands-on experience with subassembly in an aerospace, industrial, or manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field
Additional Skills:
- Prior experience working in the aerospace industry or a related internship experience
- Proficiency with CATIA, SolidWorks, and/or AutoCAD
- Experience with riveters, automated riveting systems, GEMCOR equipment, and precision alignment tools
