Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to produce nutritious meals aligned with dietary guidelines
- Serve meals to residents or patients with friendly, attentive customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing routines
- Handle food safely according to established food handling protocols and hygiene practices
- Support meal delivery, bussing tables, and clearing dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Follow proper food safety procedures during food handling, storage, and serving processes
- Aid in inventory management by organizing supplies and assisting with restocking as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food production, preparation, and serving techniques
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle meal schedules and tasks
- Experience with dietary department operations or dietetics is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines meticulously
- Kitchen experience including cooking, food handling, cleaning, and bussing preferred
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices is essential

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
