Position Duties:
- Open & Close the Realm: Perform start-up and shutdown rituals to prepare the arena for players and set the stage for the next shift.
- Welcome New Adventurers: Be an extremely welcoming host. Engage with hundreds of strangers and introduce the value of Gameway for their layover. Meet sales objectives.
- Upsell for Extra Points: When selling game time, offer snacks and drinks. When selling snacks and drinks, offer game time. Level up every transaction!
- Clean the Battlefield: Keep all stations free of food, trash, and distractions, dust and vacuum daily to maintain the perfect playing field.
- Maintain the Gear: Keep consoles, TVs, controllers, and headsets updated, cleaned, and battle-ready. Report any tech glitches to the Guild Master.
- Stock the Potion Bar: Always ensure drinks and snacks are replenished for players refueling between matches.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Sales experience: 2+ years in a sales role (retail, hospitality, face-to-face, or field) with a record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- 3 years of experience in a customer facing role, such as retail, hospitality, or customer service.
- At least 18 years old and able to complete the alcohol training awareness certification.
- Able to repeat the sales process which includes greeting passengers walking by the store.
- Able to learn and operate our Point-of-Sale system.
- Extensive knowledge of PC's, PlayStation/Xbox consoles, and all the newest and most popular games.
- Successful completion of airport badging and government screening.
- Be extremely reliable to show up for your shifts on time, every time.
- Stand for an extended period during your shift.
Pay and Schedule:
- $19/hour
- Shifts available: Open availability only.
