Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- You may help prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper sanitation throughout the restaurant.
- Assist in food preparation and packaging for dine-in or takeout orders.
- Support team members with food handling, serving, and general restaurant operations to ensure a smooth flow of service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high-energy environment while multitasking efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
