What You'll Do
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate residents and families regarding therapy goals and progress
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Texas PTA license in good standing
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to travel within assigned regions as needed
- Passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care
