Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining therapy routines.
- Prepare treatment areas with necessary equipment and supplies to ensure smooth therapy sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces, equipment, and supplies to uphold safety standards.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow within the clinic or hospital setting.
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to patient service with a caring attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy.
- Prior experience working in outpatient clinics is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Experience with orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatrics, or sub-acute care is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare careers related to hospital medicine or outpatient therapy services.
