Job Summary:
Countryside Animal Hospital is a vibrant, independently-owned small animal practice seeking to fill our full-time Kennel Attendant position. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who loves working with animals and desires to gain more knowledge of the veterinary industry, or is working toward acceptance into a veterinary or technician educational program.

Job Responsibilities:
- Handling and restraint of felines and canines
- Prepare laboratory samples
- Assist with radiology
- Assist with ultrasound procedures
- Assist with treatment for hospitalized patients
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with appointments and procedures
- Cleaning, sterilizing, care and maintenance of all surgical instruments
- Preparing surgical and dental suites for procedures
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked environment
- Assist with inventory management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Ability to be on your feet for 9+ hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Exemplary time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to receive direction from mentors
Countryside Animal Hospital is a Drug-Free facility. The candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
