Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Arcata, California. This is a great opportunity for a qualified RN looking for consistent hours and a night-shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients.
- Assess patient conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor patients, document clinical findings, and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
Requirements
- Active California RN license required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current ACLS certification required.
- Med/Surg nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
Pay: $2,250.00 - $2,300.00 per week
