Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Finance & HR Specialist to support the Company's day-to-day finance, payroll, benefits, and human resources administrative activities. This position will work closely with Finance, Human Resources, and other functional teams to ensure invoices are processed accurately and timely, payroll and employee benefits are properly administered, and financial and HR records are maintained in an organized and compliant manner.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently in a small-company environment, and able to effectively coordinate with employees, vendors, service providers, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts Payable
- Receive and review and process vendor invoices in accordance with internal approval procedures and arrange payment for the approved invoices.
- Track invoice approvals, payment status, and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized invoices, payment, and supporting documentation.
- Assist Finance with reconciliations, expense reporting, audits, and other administrative activities.
Payroll
- Coordinate payroll processing with the Company's payroll service provider.
- Review payroll information for accuracy and ensure timely processing.
- Process payroll changes, bonuses, reimbursements, new hires, and terminations.
- Maintain payroll records and respond to routine employee payroll inquiries.
Benefits & HR Administration
- Coordinate employee health, dental, vision, and other benefit enrollments and changes.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact with insurance brokers, benefit carriers, and other HR service providers.
- Support new-hire onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee, payroll, and benefits records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounts payable, payroll, HR administration, or a related role.
- Experience with invoice process system, payroll systems, and employee benefits administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry is a plus but not required.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
