An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Principal Service Manager within the North American Technical Services organization. You will report directly to our Senior Manager of North America Services, and you’ll work out of our Des Plaines, IL, Rosemont, IL, or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule. This position will play a key and integral role in managing service and technical support of UOP's refining industry customers, while working in close coordination with the Account Manager.

You will report directly to our Sr. Chemical Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Des Plaines, IL, Houston, TX, or Rosemont, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE
- 10+ years of experience in the refining and petrochemicals industries. Experience in LNG processing and Gas processing/Midstream will also be considered as part of the whole body of work experience
- Proven expertise in chemical engineering principles and practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage and influence others with a demonstrated capability to collaborate with people and organizations while driving results.
- Able to collaborate with cross business units to prioritize actions and resources.
- Provide timely and concise information to others and using clear and thoughtful oral and written communications to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively
- Able to manage internal work processes through established systems and tools to support the team needs
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.

- 12+ years of experience in chemical engineering.
- Significant prior experience in two or more UOP Process technologies is highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid comprehensive problem-solving skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State (excluding most major metropolitan areas); and anywhere in Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, and Vermont is $177,000 - $222,000. For Washington DC, and most major metropolitan areas in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State, the annual base salary range is $162,000 - $203,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
