The primary job function of the Residential Reception Specialist is to support individuals and the company at the LifeSkills Unlimited, Inc office in accordance with the mission.
MUST HAVE VALID NEVADA DRIVERS LICENSE, clean DMV record
Reports to the CFO and CEO
Maintain strict confidentiality of the individuals, employee’s and the company at all times
Supervise the individuals in the office (monitoring activity, support needs)
Answer the phones, taking messages and/or transferring calls
Manage paperwork used by employees, providing copies when needed and maintaining the filing system
Track company vehicles, and work with transport team as needed scheduling maintenance, etc.
Assist Records Maintenance with filing of individual clinical records
Maintain a database of individuals served with address, phone numbers, etc.
Assist Managers to add up monthly data collection
Act as intermediary for ISLA home maintenance issues with Maintenance Technician
Complete all other duties or assignments as directed by a member of LifeSkills Unlimited, Inc. management
Position Requirements
Skills/Expertise
High School education or equivalent
Friendly and Courteous manner
Computer skills including use of Word and Excel
Ability to read and write in English.
CPR and First Aid (provided)
Criminal background check with no convictions (done by NHP fingerprinting system)
Preemployment and/or random Drug Testing
Valid, unrestricted Nevada driver’s license
Clean DMV record
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to self initiate responsibilities
Communicate effectively with individuals, families, coworkers and administration.
Work flexible hours including weekends.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to recognize and report hazards and apply safe work methods.
Complete all required training to maintain employment status
Physical Demands: May involve climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, reaching and manual dexterity. May involve negligible to significant standing/walking/pushing/pulling/carrying. Involves hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the phone and vision to read printed materials and view training videos.
Strength: Sedentary to heavy – exert force of 10-100 pounds, occasionally. Mobility to work in a typical residential setting and use standard home appliances.
Examples of Equipment/Supplies to Perform Tasks: Thermometers, first aid supplies, blood glucose monitoring supplies, telephones, fax machines, copy machine and general home appliances including but not limited to: stove, oven, microwave, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, etc.
NOTE: Offer of employment is not a guarantee of hours. Scheduled hours of work are based on the needs of the people served based on the current contract with the State of Nevada.
