Holm Electric, Inc. is growing electrical contractor based in the Lake Tahoe area looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator/Engineer/Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll take ownership of design drawings, cost estimates, and technical project support for a mix of residential and commercial work. What You'll Do
- Create initial and final electrical design drawings for residential and commercial projects using AutoCAD, Visio, and Planswift
- Perform load calculations and verify compliance with NEC codes and industry standards
- Prepare engineering takeoffs and accurate project cost estimates and proposals
- Research component and material specifications and source qualified suppliers
- Review drawings, takeoffs, and estimates produced by other team members
- Provide technical guidance to field technicians on active projects
- Assemble and maintain complete project documentation
- Stay current with NEC code updates and emerging industry technologies
