Involved Work Tasks:
Static Line electric is a full-service High Voltage Power Line Construction Company. We are a growing company along the Front range. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual that is self-directed. As an experienced Technician at our Falcon, Colorado location, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on pickup trucks, trailers, medium duty aerial bucket and boom trucks. The position will require mobile service repairs as needed. Some hydraulic system knowledge is a necessity. Most of our medium duty trucks are aerial equipment.
As a Technician at Static Line, you are trusted to work independently while doing major and minor repairs, performing road tests to diagnose problems and completing maintenance tasks. On occasion, Static Line Electric assists Utilities across the country if natural disasters occur. If a natural disaster occurs with a customer located in other states, we would require you to travel with the electric crews to maintain the equipment during the operation. Most of our mobile work is in the Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, and Parker area. The majority of work will be conducted at our Falcon Shop location. Most of the natural disaster events range from one day to two weeks in duration.

Main Responsibilities:
- Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our employees
- Doing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision and in a timely manner
- Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials, including replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components, Hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs etc.
- Keeping your work area clean and safe
- Using Static Line Electric tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
- Learning new skills through SLE technician training
- Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

General Requirements:
- 6 years of practical experience with diesel truck and trailer maintenance
- Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications (preferred)
Experienced using all tools of the trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and hand and power tools)
- Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred
- The ability to solve problems
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
- Basic computer skills
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education) and pass a drug screening
- This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, Candidates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
Physical Requirements:
The Candidate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
· The candidate must be able kneel for periods of time and crawl under low lying objects.
· Must be able to spend time in contorted positions while making repairs.

Salary: $55.00/hour to $75.00/hour depending on experience with full health care benefits and pension and 401k plan.
