Overview
Looking for a female home health aide to assist a woman with major mobility limitations in Ellsworth, ME.
Responsibilities
- Assist patient with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and physical therapy exercises.
- Assist with getting out of bed in the morning and into bed at night.
- Drive client in her minivan to appointments
- Errands such as grocery shopping
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and some cleaning
Skills
- Ability to lift and assist client with mobility needs/client is 125 pounds
- Fluent in English
- Legal to work in US
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with mobility disabilities.
- Knowledge of patient transfer methods is essential.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely while maintaining patient safety standards.
- Female Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
Pay: $30.00 - $32.30 per hour
